Application Methods

Application methods that natural persons whose personal data will be processed (“Data Subject”) may use to exercise his or her rights on his or her personal data while making an application to the Data Controller under the Law on Protection of Personal Data (“LPPD”) are described in the “Communiqué on the Rules and Procedures for Applications to the Data Controller” No. 30356 dated 10 March 2018.

Without prejudice to the other methods identified by the Personal Data Protection Board (“Board”), due to written form of positive law, Zingat has listed below the application methods identified by law for the Data Subject. The Data Subject may file an application using this form through one of the methods listed below. A Data Subject may file an application in the following manners:

  • By sending an e-mail to [email protected] with his or her secured electronic signature;
  • By sending an e-mail to Zingat’s Registered Electronic Mail (KEP) address ([email protected])
  • By posting the application form signed by him or her to the Zingat’a following postal address Sultan Selim Mah. Eski Büyükdere Cad. No: 33/4 D: 5 Kağıthane, Istanbul, Turkey; or
  • Through a notary public.

All application filed to Zingat will be replied as soon as possible depending on the nature of the application but no later than 30 days, as a rule, free of charge. The reply will be communicated to the respective Data Subject either electronically or in hard copy. In the event that the application entails an expense, the fee prescribed by the Board shall be charged to the Data Subject.
